La battuta tra Eric e Sookie, durante il sogno ad occhi aperti del vichingo, è molto simile a quella che troviamo nel primo libro della saga di Charline Harris.

Sookie: “If you say so. Can I see you levitate?”(Se lo dici tu. Posso vederti levitare?)
Bill: “Right here?” Bill sounded amused. (Proprio qui? Bill sembra divertito)
Sookie:”Sure, why not? Unless there’s a reason?” (certo, perchè no? A meno che non ci sia una ragione per lasciar perdere)
Bill: “No, none at all.” And he let go of my arms and began to rise. (No, nessuna. Ha alzato le braccia ed ha incominciato a salire)
I breathed a sigh of pure rapture. He floated up in the dark, gleaming like white marble in the moonlight.
When he was about two feet off the ground, he began hovering. I thought he was smiling down at me.
(Ho tirato un sospiro di estati pura. Ha galleggiato nel buio. Ho pensato che mi stava sorridendo)
Sookie “Can all of you do that?” I asked. (Tutti lo possono fare?)
Bill: “Can you sing?” (Puoi cantare?)
Sookie: “Nope, can’t carry a tune.” (No, non azzeccherei una nota)
Bill: “Well, we can’t all do the same things, either.” Bill came down slowly and landed on the ground without a thump.
(Beh, non possiamo tutti fare le stesse cose”. Bill scese lentamente ed atterrò senza un tonfo)
Che Alan Ball voglia rendere Eric da un punto di vista “sentimentale” più simile a Bill in questa stagione? Voi cosa ne pensate?
